This shortcut allows you to quickly view today's tasks on iOS devices in the selected Notion database.

Creating your Notion Integration

  1. Go to Internal Notion Integrations and sign in to your Notion account. https://www.notion.so/my-integrations
  2. Click on ‘New Integration.’

  1. Select the Notion workspace to connect to.
  2. Name this integration to identify it later in Notion.

  1. Go to the Secrets tab of your integration.
  2. Click on 'Show' to copy your Internal Integration Secret.

Connecting a database to your integration

  1. Open the root page of the Notion database you want to connect to.

  2. Click on the 3 dots on the top right to open the page menu.

  3. Under connections, click on ‘Connect to’.

  4. Search for your integration and click on it to connect.

  5. A confirmation window will pop up.

Extracting a database ID

  1. On the root page of the Notion database, click on ‘Share’.
  2. Click on ‘Copy link’.

  1. Paste the link on the page, then copy the section between '/' and '?'. This is your database ID.

Setting up the Apple Shortcut

  1. Access the pre-made Apple Shortcut using this link:  Shortcuts
  2. Click ‘Get Shortcut’ to open it in your Shortcuts app and follow the instructions to set it up.

  1. Paste your database ID.
  2. Paste your Internal Integration Secret.

Filtering Tasks

  1. Paste your name for ‘Date’ property.
  2. Paste your name for ‘Status’ property.
  3. Paste your ‘Complete’ name from your status property to see only those tasks that are not completed.
